About the Role
Alumni Ventures (AV) is pioneering the use of AI Podscompact, high-velocity teams where an executive, cutting-edge technology, and an AI-native operator collaborate to produce outsized results. As Special Assistant to the Office of Investment (OOI), you'll be a force multiplierexpanding the team's capacity across deal sourcing, portfolio management, and operational excellence. You'll work side by side with OOI leaders, senior investors, and cross-functional partners, operating as part of a high-trust, high-performance inner circle.
This role offers rare exposure to venture investment decision-making, fund operations, and strategic initiatives that shape the firm's portfolio and future. Your scope will be broad, your learning curve steep, and your impact immediate.
What You'll Do
Investment Support & Strategic Execution
- Conduct detailed analysis to support AV's investment decision making
- Identify opportunities to improve AV's investment operations by leveraging AI & technology
- Work with investment teams across AV to establish operational best-practices across the investing & portfolio management functions
AI-Driven & Data-Enhanced Investment Operations
Project Management & Cross-Functional Coordination
