What You'll Do :

The Automation Engineering Technician will trouble shoot, assemble, repair, and maintain robotic cells as required to support shop production for the machining and assembly floor.

• Maintain and troubleshoot automated systems, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic (Fanuc), vision (Cognex / Keyence), PLCs, and HMI programs.
• Assemble mechanical components using blueprints, sketches, and models; fit and align parts into assemblies and mechanisms.
• Develop and improve robotic and vision system programs, adjusting lighting, cameras, and end-of-arm tooling for optimal performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Production, Quality Assurance, and Engineering to resolve production issues and enhance equipment uptime.
• Implement lean manufacturing and preventative maintenance strategies to improve tooling processes and system reliability.
