  • Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room\n
  • Location : Durango, CO 81301 (Colorado healthcare jobs)\n
  • Facility Setting : Operating Room (Surgery Unit)\n
  • Shift : 10-hour days (7 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM)\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week\n
  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 – End : 2 / 7 / 2026)\n
  • On-Call : One night per week and one weekend per month\n
  • Weekends : No regular weekend shifts\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,210 - $2,370\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a participating NLC state\n
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred\n
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience as a Circulating Nurse\n
  • Strong clinical skills in perioperative nursing, patient assessment, and surgical support\n
  • Ability to float to other healthcare units or facilities within 60 miles as needed\n

  • Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records\n
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team\n
  • Demonstrate competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection\n
  • Advocate for patient safety, rights, and well-being at all times\n
  • Provide patient and family education, assessing learning needs and evaluating teaching effectiveness\n
  • Deliver relationship-based care with respect for cultural differences and patient preferences\n
  • Delegate tasks to non-RN personnel in accordance with Colorado state and hospital policy\n
  • Serve as a professional role model, mentor, and preceptor for new staff and nursing students\n
  • Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and ongoing education to maintain clinical competency\n
  • Maintain professional records and uphold standards of nursing practice in the operating room\n
