Job descriptionPick up furniture, mattresses, and appliance from Plymouth Furniture and transport them to customers homes. Perform routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance Plan the safest and most efficient routes of travel Adhere to delivery schedules Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues that may arise Document fuel expenses Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with customers in a professional and friendly manner Comply with all company policies and driving laws Assemble furniture when not delivering Clean Trucks and Warehouse Previous experience as a Truck Driver is preferred Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and loading / unloading of products Familiarity with GPS systems Understanding of all relevant truck-driving laws and regulations Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures is beneficial Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and professional in home furniture and appliance delivery truck driver to join our team at Plymouth Furniture, Inc. In this role, you will transport a variety of goods and materials from one location to another. You will plan the most efficient route, ensure adherence to delivery schedules, and perform routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate has experience driving trucks and makes safety a number one priority.
