Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details : \n

  • Work 4x10 hour day shifts with 36 guaranteed weekly hours

    • \n

  • Rotating on-call schedule including at least 2 weekdays and weekends

    • \n

  • Float as needed within the Cardiac Pavilion to assist (no patient assignments)

    • \n

  • Administer conscious sedation and monitor patients

    • \n

  • Work with pre / intra / post-operative cardiac catheterization patients

    • \n

  • Use equipment including manifold, balloon pumps, Impella, rotoblader devices, and EP equipment

    • \n

  • Work with EPIC electronic medical record system

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS (AHA only) and ACLS

    • \n

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience required

    • \n

  • OR scrubs provided for dress code

    • \n

  • Flu vaccination required from November 1-April 1 (exemptions must be client approved)

    • \n

  • Ideal candidate has easy-going, can-do attitude and ready to jump in and help

The facility holds Comprehensive Cardiac Center Certification from The Joint Commission and maintains Missouri Level I STEMI Center designation. The hospital features advanced cardiac care capabilities including a dedicated Cardiac Pavilion and has earned recognition for stroke care with Primary Stroke Center Certification.
