Field Service Supervisor

Overview

Field Service Millwright Supervisor – Pulp & Paper Industry. We are seeking an experienced Field Service Millwright Supervisor to oversee site supervisors and hourly millwright crews in the pulp & paper industry. This leadership role is responsible for building and maintaining a skilled workforce, ensuring safe and efficient project execution, and fostering strong customer relationships. This position requires heavy travel to project sites, company vehicle and expenses.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of site supervisors and millwright crews on pulp & paper projects
• Lead all aspects of project execution with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency
• Build and maintain construction project schedules; track progress from planning through completion
• Coordinate work across engineering, crafts, and subcontractors
• Prioritize tasks, manage resources, and resolve schedule / material conflicts
• Oversee the change order process and keep the Operations Manager informed of project impacts
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to customer specifications
• Develop scope with Operations Managers and Planners; assist in bid proposal preparation
• Conduct punch list development and project closeout activities
• Manage subcontractor performance and field needs
• Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and craft employees to build a strong, fluent workforce
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships
