Job Description

The Health & Safety Manager is responsible for leading and managing all environmental, health, and safety programs across the facility. This role ensures regulatory compliance, promotes a strong safety culture, and drives continuous improvement in EHS performance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
• Conduct routine safety audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and environmental inspections.
• Lead training initiatives related to safety procedures, hazardous materials, emergency response, and environmental compliance.
• Track and report EHS performance metrics; drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for incidents and near-misses.
• Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies and maintain all required environmental permits and documentation.
• Promote a culture of safety through behavioral safety programs, employee engagement, and leadership alignment.
• Support sustainability and waste reduction initiatives where applicable.
• Lead the site’s emergency preparedness and response planning.
• Manage EHS-related budgets and coordinate with vendors for services like waste disposal and PPE procurement.
• Manage, develop, and mentor a team of EHS professionals to ensure effective execution of safety programs.
