What does the CertifiedCaregiver do?

In short, you are backbone of our assisted living and memorycare communities in the state of Arizona. You provide direct resident care(bathing, toileting, assisting, etc.), complete assignments as a universalworker, and assists in maintaining a positive physical and psychosocialenvironment for all of our residents.

In this job, everyday you will...

1. Provide direct resident care while promotingresident dignity, independence and choice, regularly observes residents'physical and mental conditions and reports changes to the Health ServicesDirector, or Executive Director.

2. Assist with and provide care services asdirected by the resident's cooperative service plan.

3. Report and document all incidents and accidentsper policy. Completes all incident forms.

4. Assist residents to and from dining room andactivities.

5. Perform First Aid and initiates emergencyresponse procedures as required.

6. Assist in lifting, moving and transportingresidents using proper body mechanics or assistive devices as directed by theresident's cooperative service plan.

7. Assist with apartment housekeeping services andresident's laundry.

Education & Experienceyou need to qualify :

You will need a High school diploma or GED withone or more years of personal care experience with older adults preferred

You must hold state required certification,complete state required delegation and / or training requirements andsuccessfully complete the ADL competency return demonstration. Must have wordprocessing skills

Current First Aid and CPR certification. FoodHandlers permit if required by State
