Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for an outpatient children's rehab role requiring strong pediatric background, a Florida SLP license, and CCC-SLP certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Outpatient rehab services at a children's medical plaza
  • Patient population includes children with diagnoses such as speech delay, autism, language disorder, cerebral palsy, and apraxia
  • Monday through Friday schedule, 8-hour day shifts
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • Travelers are required to float, including possible assignments at sister campuses within a 15-20 minute radius
  • Primary responsibilities include evaluating and treating children with a wide range of speech, language, and developmental disorders
  • Therapists are expected to integrate effectively with the existing team and are welcomed as core staff
  • Staff culture places strong emphasis on collaboration and adaptability
  • Travelers must be prepared to float to other campuses as needed
  • Requests for time off or specific scheduling must be submitted prior to assignment
  • Orientation may include both remote and onsite components
  • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active Florida Speech Language Pathologist license required if applicable
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of professional SLP experience and at least 1-2 years of pediatric experience
  • Medical rehab experience is preferred
  • Must be comfortable working with children with autism and behavioral challenges
  • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
