Echo Sonographer - M-F About Mount Carmel Dublin :

Mount Carmel Dublin will be an innovative medical ambulatory campus directly tailored to the needs of the Dublin community and surrounding suburbs. Services provided :

24-bay emergency department

60 acute inpatient beds

4 operating rooms

Level 1 cardiac capability

Advanced imaging, and other outpatient testing

Attached MOB

The attached medical office building will provide a community education space in addition to clinic space for :

Primary Care

Neurology

Cardiology

Vascular

Other independent specialists

Mount Carmel plans to extend its community health and well-being programs into the Dublin community as well.

Position Purpose :

The Cardiovascular Sonographer is responsible for performing Echocardiography and / or Vascular diagnostic testing as per Accreditation Guidelines. Reports preliminary findings for physician interpretation, Functions within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the organization.

Requirements / Qualifications

Registered by the ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) as a RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered by CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) as a RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)

BLS certification required

Associates or Bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred

Minimum one (1) year experience in cardiovascular imaging preferred
