Responsibilities

Ascension St Vincent is seeking a full time Occupational Medicine Physician for our single provider Carmel, Indiana practice. Enjoy a wonderful support staff that includes a Medical Assistant and Practice Coordinator. Experience a diverse patient panel among the many companies that we have contracts with.

Position includes :  Injury care for sprains, strains, contusions and fractures

Minor laceration repair requiring sutures

Eye injuries, e.g. corneal abrasions, removal of foreign bodies, rust ring removal.

Chemical exposures at work

DOT certification for CDL exams

Pre Employment physical exams

Review of audiogram results

Review of spirometry

Review of Medical monitoring / Surveillance lab results

MRO certification

Fit for Duty exams

Disability exams

Knowledge of OSHA regulatory compliance

Collaborative physician for onsite clinics with PA’s and NP’s

Understanding of the Workers Compensation system, OSHA recordable injuries, and

placement of work restrictions.

US Civil Surgeon certification for Immigration exams
