Job descriptionPerform CT and general radiographic procedures per physician orders and departmental protocols. Operate CT scanners, X-ray, C-arm, and fluoroscopy equipment safely and effectively. Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging, ensuring accuracy and comfort. Perform CT scans of head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen / pelvis, and extremities. Assist with interventional, biopsy, and drainage procedures as needed. Administer studies with and without contrast following protocol and safety guidelines. Evaluate images for diagnostic quality, completeness, and correct labeling. Document procedures accurately in Cerner and Change Healthcare PACS . Maintain sterile technique for surgical and invasive procedures. Follow radiation safety and infection control standards. Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care. ARRT (CT) certification required. Active New Mexico radiologic technologist license required. BLS certification required. Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program. Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience required. Proficiency in inpatient and outpatient imaging.
