HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a local contract nursing job in Savannah, Georgia.

Unit Specifics :

  • Number of Beds : 82
  • Patient Ratios : 2-4
  • Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Unit secretaries, Neo Techs, CNC’s, Discharge Coordinator, Lactation, and Child Life.
  • Type of equipment : Giraffe Isolettes, Dreger Vents, GE Monitors, and Alaris Pumps
  • Documentation system : EPIC
  • Scheduling requirements : 3-12 hour shifts weekly with up to every other weekend.
  • Floating policy : RN’s float to the Children’s Units and Women’s Units
  • Patient Experience requirements : Level 3 experience preferred.

    Requested Skill Set :

    Must have : Level 3 experience

    Advanced skills needed : Basic Level 3 NICU experience

    Procedures performed on unit :   We are a delivery hospital and care for infants that are 23 weeks to term.  We keep all critical infants except infants that require ECMO or cardiac surgery.

    Certifications Required : AWHONN, NRP
