OPS Consulting is seeking a Linux Engineer to work in Laurel, MD .

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for analyzing, designing and executing the requirements of the Linux Solution to include Red Hat and Rocky Linux in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems
• Analytically and systematically evaluates problems of workflows, organization, and planning and develops appropriate corrective action
• Responsible for the system requirements, interface definitions (internal as well as external)
• Manages team's full life cycle system implementation efforts
• Subject matter in one or more Linux Technologies to include integration points and adjacent technologies
• Provide reach back to Red Hat and / or CIQ rocky Linus engineering in order to obtain and / or request hotfixes, future enhancements, or product road map visibility
• Must be knowledge of the following : Red Hat Linux, Rocky Linux, Ansible, Network Automation, System Automation Linux scripting

Pay Range : $49,996.80 - $290,004.00

Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and / or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to : level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
