About the Role :

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Assistant General Manager to join our team at a casual, sports-themed restaurant in Rome, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team in a fun, high-energy environment where sports fans and great food come together. As Assistant General Manager, you will support the General Manager in overseeing all daily operations, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service, and helping drive the restaurant’s success. You will play a key role in staff management, financial oversight, and guest relations, all while helping to maintain the lively and engaging atmosphere our restaurant is known for in Rome, GA.

Key Responsibilities :

• Team Leadership & Development : Assist in managing and motivating a diverse team of staff, ensuring training, coaching, and development for all team members. Support the General Manager in fostering a positive work culture and ensuring staff engagement.
• Operations Management : Help manage daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service. Oversee food and beverage service, guest interactions, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant, especially during peak times.
• Guest Experience : Engage with guests in a fun, sports-themed environment, ensuring they receive an exceptional experience. Handle guest complaints, ensuring timely resolution and turning any dissatisfied guests into return customers.
• Staffing & Scheduling : Work closely with the General Manager to manage staffing levels and scheduling, ensuring there are adequate team members for shifts while controlling labor costs.
• Compliance & Safety : Ensure that the restaurant is compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations, including food safety, sanitation, and health codes. Maintain a clean, safe, and fun environment for both employees and guests in Rome, GA.
