Advantra is partnering with a large-scale enterprise technology team in Phoenix to hire a ServiceNow Platform Architect to design, build, and optimize ServiceNow App Engine applications and integrations.

About the role

You will architect scalable ServiceNow solutions with strong data models, secure APIs, and efficient integrations. The work includes designing scoped applications, setting up CI / CD pipelines, managing instance migrations, and optimizing platform performance. You will also establish governance, lead health scans, and guide teams on ServiceNow best practices for reliability and scalability.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver scoped applications on the ServiceNow App Engine.

Build and maintain robust data models and ACL configurations.

Develop and manage Scripted REST APIs for system integrations.

Establish CI / CD pipelines and branching strategies for ServiceNow.

Create reusable integrations using Integration Hub.

Lead performance tuning through query optimization, caching, and indexing.

Define platform guardrails and governance standards.

Conduct and analyze instance and health scans.

Mentor developers on platform configuration and architecture best practices.

Core requirements

8+ years of ServiceNow platform design and development experience.

Proven experience architecting scoped applications on App Engine.

Expertise in Scripted REST APIs, ACLs, and data model design.

Experience with CI / CD setup, branching, and version control.

Hands-on experience with Integration Hub and reusable integrations.

Strong knowledge of instance migration and upgrade planning.

Proven ability to optimize platform performance and scalability.

Familiarity with ServiceNow governance and instance security best practices.

Experience leading platform health scans and remediation.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Nice to have

Experience with Flow Designer and ServiceNow Process Automation.

Familiarity with ITOM, ITSM, or HRSD modules.

Experience with automated testing frameworks for ServiceNow.

Knowledge of cloud integration patterns with AWS or Azure.

Exposure to ServiceNow instance consolidation and enterprise rollout.
