Kafka Architect

Title : TechOps Engineer with Kafka

Location : Hybrid in NYC

Duration : 12+ Months

Industry : Ideally, financial services. Second would be a large corporation and good work history

Main points of the role as described by the hiring manager :

• This person must have Kafka.
• Looking for a Technical Operations Specialist who will be maintaining applications and systems
• Preference for DevOps experience, as they will be involved in a cloud migration project to AWS (AWS Cert is a bonus)
• Must be at least an 8 out of 10 in Linux
• Should be able to review and understand code for troubleshooting, but do not need to have hands-on development
• Must be able to script (preference for Python or Bash)
• Someone who can own a project (plan, lead, deliver) is preferred. Will consider mid-level candidates who can learn this piece.
• Will be on on-call duty once every 4 weeks. Can be anywhere in the US
