Travel ICU / PCU Float Registered Nurse - $2,317 per week

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM
• Must be comfortable working ALL ICU and PCU units as a float nurse
• Staffing needs re-evaluated every 4 hours with potential to float 2-3 times per shift
• Weekend requirement : Either every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Patient ratios : PCU average 5 : 1, ICU average 2 : 1
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• 2 years of experience preferred with ICU experience required
• Experience at a Large Level 1 / 2 Facility required
• Must have skills in IV therapy including arterial line management, central / PICC line care, blood product administration
• Respiratory support skills required : BiPAP & CPAP management, ventilated patient care
• Medication administration including continuous IV sedation, emergency meds, titration of cardiac & vasoactive drips
• Wound care for surgical wounds with drains or wound vacs
• Cardiac monitoring with dysrhythmia interpretation & management
• IV insulin protocol adherence required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• May work without CNA support
