• Work in K9-B Observation Unit with 20-bed capacity
• Patient ratios : Day shift 1 : 5 (stretch to 1 : 6), Night shift 1 : 6 (stretch to 1 : 7)
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Work with telemetry monitoring equipment and Baxter pumps
• Use Cerner / PowerChart electronic medical record system
• Perform typical procedures including telemetry monitoring, Foley insertion, and IV starts
• Float to other med-surg levels of care including A3 West Med-Surg, A4 West Trauma, A4 East Renal, A5 West Adult Medicine, A6 West Neuro, J6 Ortho, A7 West, K6 Spine, and K8 General Surgery
• Required certifications : BLS and Telemetry Certification
• Preferred certification : Med-Surge Certification
• Dress code : All navy, all white, or white top with navy bottoms scrubs
• Ideal candidate is outgoing, enjoys fast-paced environment, and is a team player
• Day shift staffing : 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 PCTs, 1 HUC
