Position Summary

The Director of Regional Corporate Lead Team will lead and manage a team of 9 professionals focused on advancing strategic partnerships and driving business growth and defending market share within the 6 regions of Petcare. This role is responsible for developing a comprehensive strategy, position framework, and role performance measures, while executing high-level strategic corporate partner plans, fostering collaboration across functions, and ensuring the team delivers exceptional results aligned with corporate objectives. The Director will serve as a key liaison between internal leadership and external partners, championing the organization's brand and partnership goals. The Director will develop critical skills to improve relationships and contract execution with corporate partners regional leaders to include operations leaders and medical leaders. This role requires a proven track record of leadership, coaching, deep understanding of corporate veterinary practices, key performance indicators that corporations leverage to manage veterinary hospitals.

Position Responsibilities

Financial Performance

  • Meet sale performance metrics with targeted partners and regional leaders.
  • Leverage contract rebates and medical education funds to accelerate focus brands sales performance at the regional level.
  • Execute partner plans through regional leaders to grow hospital sales at an increase pace higher than non-regionally covered hospitals. Manage contracts, rebates, discounts, marketing & education.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop a team of 9 Regional Corporate Liaisons. Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders within commercial, marketing, medical, regional sales leadership, regional medical leadership, area managers and professional service veterinarians, operations, data and digital.
  • Develop the team to be experts on regional negotiation, data-driven,engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, both internally and with customers. Proficient in corporate account management financial acumen, enabling strategic decision-making, building relationships, understanding the corporate accounts, regional and hospital business needs, and ability to maintain high levels of customer trust while managing constructive conflict with partners. Understanding key performance indicators corporate partners use to drive regional and hospital success.
  • Develop a regional strategy, Partnership Manager competencies and coach to the competencies to improve talent. Effectively identify and manage underperformance. Create a talent pipeline.
  • Resource management and development

  • In partnership with internal stakeholders, develop tools and resources that drive value at the regional level of our corporate partnerships.
  • Manage operating expenses.
  • Review contract performance with internal and external stakeholders on a quarterly basis.
  • Cross-functional Leadership

  • Collaborates closely across a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Internal : Zoetis Petcare Commercial leads, Customer Marketing, Medical Directors, Regional Veterinary Directors, Regional Business Directors, Area Business Managers, Professional Service Veterinarians.
  • External : Corporate Regional leaders (Operations & Medical), C - Suite executives, and corporate partner hospital locations.
  • Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, including managing sales or partnership teams.
  • Experience in animal health and corporate veterinary companies.
  • Technical Skills Requirements

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 9 Regional Corporate Liaisons and support staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Drive the execution of strategic imperatives to grow and deepen customer and partner relationships within the region.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and other cross-functional teams to align partnership initiatives and optimize outcomes.
  • Advocate for partner needs while promoting organizational priorities to maximize mutual value and market impact.
  • Oversee performance management, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure team targets and KPIs are met.
  • Make informed, real-time decisions to address challenges and seize opportunities in a dynamic environment.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Lead the implementation of both near-term and long-term strategies for sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams of 9 or more, with a track record of driving results through effective team management.
  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to execute complex plans.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Experience in partnership management, sales strategy, and project management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, fluid, and evolving environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and comfortable learning new systems.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical Position Requirements

    Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including some evenings and weekends as required.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $137,040 - $222,640 . Our salary ranges are

    determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base pay target range

    for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional

    factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

    This position is also eligible for short-term incentive compensation

    This position is also eligible for long-term incentives
