Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in Kent County, MD, serving K-12 students across five schools. This itinerant role offers an engaging opportunity to provide essential speech and language services in both elementary and high school settings. The position is contracted for the current school year, with a schedule of 7.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students in various school settings
  • Conduct assessments and testing to identify student needs and progress
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) team meetings to develop tailored educational plans
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
  • Manage itinerant caseload, traveling between multiple schools within the county

Preferred Qualifications and Experience :

  • Valid State licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with K-12 populations in school environments
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, intervention strategies, and educational frameworks
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads across different locations efficiently
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Location : Kent County, MD, with travel between five district schools including Rock Hall; daily hours vary based on elementary (8 : 30am - 3 : 50pm) or high school (7 : 45am - 2 : 45pm) schedules.
