Equipment Engineer

About the Company / The Opportunity : Our client, a leader in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technologies. Based in Tucson, Arizona, as an Equipment Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting and optimizing coating processes, ensuring exceptional product performance and reliability.

Responsibilities :

• Design and implement upgrades to electrode coating and web converting equipment, including creating and interpreting engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure the reliability of coating and converting equipment, as well as auxiliary systems.
• Assist in the fabrication and implementation of modifications to electrode coating and converting systems in collaboration with other engineering teams.
• Source components and materials for equipment projects and liaise with external vendors as needed.
• Analyze results, develop process improvement plans, and optimize anode performance to meet company objectives.
• Ensure alignment of web systems and maintain various types of pumps, such as oil diffusion, rotary vane, turbomolecular, syringe, and diaphragm.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the engineering and manufacturing goals.
