About the Job CrucialPoint is seeking an experienced Email Technical Strategist to join our team and lead the technical execution of sophisticated email, push, and in-app messaging campaigns.
This role blends strategic thinking with deep technical expertise in Braze and other enterprise level ESPs, ensuring our clients’ lifecycle marketing programs are flawlessly built, data-driven, and performance-optimized.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience implementing advanced marketing automation workflows, dynamic personalization, segmentation, and integrations—while also understanding the broader strategic objectives behind them.
Responsibilities Architect and execute customer lifecycle campaigns across Braze (email, SMS, in-app, and push).
Develop and manage data integrations between Braze and client CRMs, CDPs, or analytics tools.
Design complex user journeys using Liquid logic, segmentation, and event triggers.
Collaborate with strategists and creatives to translate campaign ideas into technically sound executions.
Ensure deliverability best practices, including IP warming, domain authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and list hygiene.
Analyze campaign performance and generate actionable insights to optimize engagement and conversion.
Stay current on all product updates, integrations, and emerging marketing technology trends.
Qualifications MUST be at least Braze Level 2 Certified 3+ years of experience in email or lifecycle marketing, preferably in an agency environment.
Proven experience with Braze Canvas, Liquid scripting, and advanced segmentation logic.
Working knowledge of HTML / CSS for email templates and JavaScript for dynamic personalization (a plus).
Understanding of data flows and APIs between marketing platforms and CRMs.
Experience with A / B testing, deliverability optimization, and analytics dashboards.
Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across technical and creative teams.
Preferred Skills Familiarity with other ESPs or marketing automation platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, SFMC, Eloqua).
Moderate understanding of SQL for audience queries.
Success Metrics Campaigns are launched on time and meet performance goals.
Data integrations function seamlessly between systems.
High deliverability and engagement rates across campaigns.
Positive collaboration feedback from internal and client teams.
