American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and CNMT certification for a Level 1 trauma acute care setting.

Position in an acute care hospital on a nuclear medicine unitLevel 1 trauma center environmentWork schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PMDay shift assignment with 12-hour shifts13-week contract assignmentEquipment includes Siemens PET / CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs; training will be provided if neededUses Epic for electronic chartingResponsibilities include performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures and operating advanced imaging equipmentDOT certification preferred at the start of the contract and required upon extension within 90 daysRadiation badge providedArtificial nails are prohibited for all staff providing patient careCandidates may not have worked directly for any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility as a full-time, part-time, or PRN employee within the past yearCandidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligibleOrientation consists of 12 hoursFirst-time travelers will be consideredScrubs or dress code details not specified\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine TechnologistCurrent BLS and Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification via NMTCB requiredActive, unencumbered state license required—license required if applicableExperience in an acute care or trauma setting strongly preferredDriver's license required for consideration to verify residence outside of 50-mile facility radiusTwo professional references required : one supervisor reference from the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor reference from the last 3 years\n Benefits\n
