About the Role
As our first marketing leadership hire , you’ll be the architect and executor of our marketing strategy, working closely with leadership to clearly define and communicate brand identity in a competitive, service-driven market. You’ll design and lead an approach that integrates customer acquisition, supports local market expansion, and differentiates our brand in a crowded space.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll roll up your sleeves to test different channels of media, launch campaigns, and scale wins — all while shaping our long-term marketing vision and collaborating in daily operations to build processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and Own the Marketing Function : Design and implement scalable marketing infrastructure, focusing on processes, brand awareness, and clear messaging of brand identity.
- Develop an Integrated Strategy : Lead a full-funnel marketing strategy across digital, local field marketing, and partner / affiliate channels. Utilizes different media across all markets.
- Lead Generation : Establish and optimize customer acquisition systems that support sales performance across branch locations.
- Paid & Organic Channels : manage internal correspondence and communicate with 4th party vendors - paid media (search, social, display), SEO, earned media, email / CRM campaigns, and provide a regular, visible social media presence.
- Brand Development : Define and refine our brand identity to increase market awareness, trust, and differentiation in a service-driven market.
- Analytics & Reporting : Create marketing dashboards, define KPIs, and track ROI, CAC, LTV, and channel performance of maintained media.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with operations, sales, and executive leadership to align marketing efforts with business goals.
- Team Building : Hire and manage internal team members and external partners (agencies, freelancers, vendors) as growth allows.
Requirements : Preferred Experience
5+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or head-of-function role.Proven success building or scaling marketing in a growing multi-location, service-based, or field-operations-heavy business (e.g., home services, franchise, healthcare, or retail).Strong grasp of local marketing tactics and how to win in neighborhood-level markets.Hands-on expertise in digital channels : paid media, SEO, email / CRM, conversion optimization, and social.Comfortable operating with limited resources — a builder who thrives in ambiguity and can execute while scaling systems.Experience setting up and working with marketing tech stacks (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, HubSpot / CRM, GA4, etc.).Data-driven mindset with fluency in CAC, ROI, attribution, and cohort analysis.Strong communicator, collaborator, and leader who can influence across functions and at all levels.
