We are seeking a dependable and detail oriented individual to join our facilities team as an Evening Custodian & Facilities Support Associate. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming campus environment.
Each evening, you will ensure classrooms, common areas, and event spaces are cleaned and reset in preparation for the next day, while also supporting light maintenance and event setup. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates reliability, and contributes positively to a community grounded in respect and care.
Custodial Duties :
Perform daily custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste removal.
Refill supplies in restrooms and kitchens.
Set up and clean up spaces for evening events and activities.
Secure doors, windows, and lights at the end of shift.
Follow proper use and storage of cleaning products and equipment.
Help maintain a welcoming environment for all members of the community.
Facilities Duties :
Perform light maintenance tasks (changing bulbs, tightening hardware, clearing minor blockages).
Set up and break down tables, chairs, and equipment for events.
Report facility damage, hazards, or urgent repair needs.
Support emergency response protocols, including fire alarms and medical emergencies.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of custodial or building maintenance experience preferred.
Experience in a school, campus, or institutional setting is a plus.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to walk campus grounds, climb stairs, lift up to 50 lbs, and work indoors / outdoors in varying conditions.
Must pass background check and fingerprint clearance.
Availability to work evenings and occasional weekends.
Reliability and punctuality are essential.
