We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver / Medication Technician to join our team. In this dual role, you will provide essential support and care to individuals in a variety of settings, ensuring they receive the assistance they need with daily living activities and medication management. Your expertise will contribute to the overall well-being and quality of life for our clients.

  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Personal Care Assistance :
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful social interactions to enhance their emotional well-being.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' physical and emotional conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

  • Medication Management :
  • Administer prescribed medications and document in accordance with care plans and legal regulations.
  • Ensure the safe storage and handling of medications, and maintain accurate records of all medications administered.
  • Educate clients and their families about medication schedules and potential side effects.

  • Household Support :
  • Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping as needed to promote a comfortable living environment.
  • Help clients maintain a clean, safe, and orderly living space.
  • 4.

  • Collaboration and Communication :
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication regarding care provided and any changes in clients’ conditions.
  • 5.

  • Compliance and Training :
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations, confidentiality policies, and care standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.
  • Qualifications :
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare or related field preferred.
  • Certification as a Medication Technician (or equivalent) and experience in caregiving.
  • Strong knowledge of medication administration and managing side effects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Physical Requirements :
  • Ability to lift, move, and assist clients as needed.
  • Capable of standing, walking, reaching, and bending for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including client homes and healthcare facilities.
