CAD experience (SolidWorks is desirable) Strong skills in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint) with ability to learn ERP systems and tools quickly Good mechanical / technical skills Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast pace environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Can demonstrate excellent leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Job Details
We are seeking a manufacturing engineer to support plant operations for the fastener and ammunition industry. The manufacturing engineering will be responsible for new product development and tool design for cold heading equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support production in reducing / eliminating equipment and tooling downtime by using good analytical methods.
- Design tooling for cold heading equipment.
- Support and maintain error-proofing methodologies
- Develop process documentation prints, work instructions, etc..
- Facilitate continuous improvement for all processes
- Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product or processes.
