Analyst, Client Finance

We're seeking an Analyst, Client Finance to join our dynamic Client Finance team. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest quality financial service for our clients, supporting essential financial management functions, and contributing to the seamless operation of our client accounts.
What You'll Do :
- Financial Oversight : Monitor and ensure accuracy of staff timesheets, providing constructive feedback to maintain billing precision.
- Budget Management : Independently manage and maintain comprehensive budget trackers for working media, expenses, and fees, proactively resolving discrepancies with media teams.
- Forecasting & Reporting : Assist with populating quarterly reforecasts, ensuring accurate representation of budget projections for fee and working media.
- Client Account Administration : Oversee client Purchase Order (PO) numbers, proactively investigating and resolving any issues, and manage internal permissions and access requests for assigned clients.
- SOW & Pacing Analysis : Identify and address Statement of Work (SOW) pacing issues, collaborating with Client Finance and Media teams for swift resolution.
- Performance Monitoring : Independently monitor actual hours and expenses against estimates for assigned brands, implementing necessary adjustments.
- Training & Development : Facilitate and support Client Finance training sessions for new hires, covering essential financial and operational protocols.
- Industry Knowledge : Develop and maintain a strong understanding of all CMI services and proprietary research offerings.
- Collaboration : Work closely with all internal departments and Client Finance team members to deliver exceptional financial service.
What You'll Bring :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.Experience : 1-2 years of relevant experience in financial management or the media industry.Technical Skills : Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas). Intermediate understanding of online and offline media functions (e.g., Media Planning, SEO, SEM, Programmatic Media Buying, Social, Analytics, Technology).Core Competencies : Exceptional organizational, project management, and time management skills. Proven problem-solving abilities with a knack for identifying and proposing alternative solutions. A genuine interest and passion for working with numbers and financial data. The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $40,000 to $75,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package.
