Job Title : Test Technician

Job Description

The Test Technician position involves performing production tests, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining tooling and specialty equipment in the designated area. This role requires a solid understanding of electronics, testing equipment, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and conduct tests on complete units and components under operational conditions.
• Analyze test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives, modifying or adjusting equipment to meet specifications.
• Record test procedures and results, including numerical and graphical data, and recommend changes in product or test methods.
• Maintain and use tools and equipment such as power meters, oscilloscopes, microscopes, and automated or computerized specialty equipment, including metric tools.
• Collaborate with the engineering department to determine improved test methods and tooling for the production area.
• Adhere to customer specifications and all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wallingford, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 / hr.
