Medical Assistant Lead

Leads assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in support of physician practice operations.

Responsibilities include : leading or coordinating shift operations, serving as a technical or functional resource, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress of work, overseeing and evaluating orientation and training of staff, and managing clinical supplies.

Requirements include : BLS Provider certification, Medical Assistant certification, and either a high school diploma with two years of experience or an associate's degree with one year of experience.

Additional preferences include prior Lead MA experience and MA certification or registration.
