Technical Writer and Business Development Specialist

Technical & Proposal Writer

We seek an experienced and skilled Technical & Proposal writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities for our company and creating business development documentation. You will work closely with the business development team and other departments to develop and implement strategies to win new contracts and other opportunities in various domestic and international business lines.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, helping to make the company successful, primarily through :

• Proposal Writing Support

As the designated Proposal Manager, provide draft proposal write-ups, to include technical write-ups, quality control plans, recruiting and / or retention write-ups, past performance, etc., as needed / required by the solicitation. Identify and match requirements to capabilities; determine concepts; tailor, gather, and format information; edit drafts; and meet or exceed company success rate goals. Assist with pricing volumes through the provision of appropriate formats and research as necessary.

Provide the Recruiting Department with the specific qualifications and requirements as outlined in the solicitation, and provide a job description using the appropriate format.

Update and maintain information in the Proposal Pipeline and Option Years Databases.
