Description

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining production equipment to function properly through troubleshooting and repair, preventative maintenance and any new installations. The position will be assigned to one area but eventually could work in all areas which include plastic CNC Drilling / Cutting Machines, robotic assembly equipment, sheet production, extrusion machines and plastic recycling machines

Job Functions

Perform troubleshooting, preventive and demand maintenance for production lines including electrical and mechanical repairs, replace components such as : motors and motor drives, pumps, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics, transmissions, make adjustments keeping in mind quality, tolerances and order of operations.

Work from schedules, work orders, manuals, blueprints, charts and instructions.

Use precision measuring devise (multimeters, calipers, etc.)

Maintain, repair, and install a wide variety of machine parts, components and equipment.

Effectively communicate with peers, production associates, and supervision.

Job Requirements

3 to 5 or more years of experience in an industrial maintenance position

Ability to troubleshoot, root cause analysis and provide professional corrections

Ability to work independently as well as communicate with other team members

Own set of standard tools

Plastic CNC, extrusion or other plastic experience would be a plus

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomery, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00 / hr.
