This position is located at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.

This position is not eligible for telecommuting.

Salary determined by Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Essential Functions

• Operation and maintenance of radar systems; and associated subsystems and consoles, to include pedestal, high power transmitter, signal generators, heat exchangers
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all subsystems and document all activities in the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS)
• Assist in calibration of high power transmitter for correct frequencies, pulse widths, shapes and power levels
• Review, update and execute all critical launch documentation to include : Operations Directives (OD’s), Range Safety Operational Requirements (RSOR), Integrated Countdown Document (ICD) and Data Distribution Listing (DDL)
• Perform troubleshooting of electronic hardware to component level and perform repairs in accordance with technical orders (TO’s), maintenance manuals and schematics
• Conduct training operations and maintenance for Radar Systems
• Other duties as assigned

The hourly rate for this role is determined by a Collective Bargaining Unit and ranges from $39.85 to $49.61. RGNext considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education / training and preferred skills and knowledge.
