We are seeking a Regulatory Auditor BSA / AML Specialist to join our team. This role will involve conducting audit closure verification testing and providing subject matter expertise in BSA / AML . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in regulatory audits, control testing, and compliance verification across financial institutions.

Job Description

As a Regulatory Auditor BSA / AML Specialist with Trilyon, Inc. , you will play a key role in verifying the successful closure of remediation actions identified by the Fed / OCC. You will work closely with management and audit teams to ensure that corrective measures meet design and operational effectiveness requirements.

This position demands a deep understanding of BSA / AML controls , including suspicious activity monitoring, customer due diligence, and compliance testing.

Scope and Deliverables

  • Oversee and guide junior auditors performing design and operational effectiveness testing of remediation actions.
  • Conduct independent verification testing to ensure closure of Fed / OCC audit issues.
  • Collaborate with management action owners to assess and validate documentation of remediation completion.
  • Select and evaluate operational instances of enhanced controls to confirm implementation effectiveness.
  • Ensure comprehensive review and validation of action plan documentation and supporting evidence.

Skills and Expertise Required

  • Advanced understanding of audit issue verification techniques and regulatory closure testing .
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. regulatory expectations related to BSA / AML programs.
  • Proven expertise in suspicious activity monitoring controls , including automated monitoring, AML risk typologies, case management systems, transaction alerting, and SAR reporting.
  • Strong understanding of customer due diligence (CDD / EDD) processes, including customer onboarding, risk assessments, CIP / CDD / EDD regulatory standards, and ongoing activity reviews.
  • Experience creating and maintaining policies, procedures, and governance frameworks for compliance programs.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with internal stakeholders, auditors, and management teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail in documentation and validation processes.
