Your Role :

As a Dental Hygienist , you will be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. You’ll play a crucial role in our patient care team, ensuring that each patient receives the time and care they deserve.     • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Current dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Strong knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.

    • Preferred Experience :

  • Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • A desire to continue learning and growing your clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care.
  • Ability to address clinical needs as required by the office.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to perform essential duties as required by the Office / Doctor / Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally.
  • Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
  • A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions, arranged during the pre-employment process.
