RF Engineer (W2 Only)

Job Title : RF Engineer Location : Elk grove, IL Job Description As an intermediate level RF Engineer, you will be responsible for designing multi-stage low-noise high-gain RF pulse amplifier systems. You will work with state-of-the-art technologies to model, simulate, implement, and test these systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and drive innovation. Responsibilities Design multi-stage low-noise RF amplifiers and systems. Select components for RF amplifiers including MMICs, LNAs, bias networks, and digital attenuators. Utilize RF signal generators, RF spectrum analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers, and electronics laboratory test equipment. Use ADS, CST Studio, Ansys HFSS, or other RF modeling and simulation tools. Design and integrate shielding for sensitive electronic circuits. Capture schematics and perform PCB layout using tools like Altium Designer. Calculate noise figure and signal-to-noise ratio. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to develop manufacturable solutions. Recommend and implement improvements to existing designs. Ensure compliance with certification bodies. Stay updated with industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Essential Skills Experience in designing electronic circuits. Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout. Ability to work with low power and some high power RF systems. Capability to test and verify designed circuits independently. Experience with network analyzers and spectrum analyzers. Additional Skills & Qualifications 5-10 years of experience preferred, open to candidates with 20+ years. Experience with RF low power and electronic circuit design.
