Basics
- Hours we're looking for : All weekdays Monday through Friday 8am – 6pm
- Job Type : Full-time
- Compensation : $21-$26.75 / hr
- Spanish fluency is preferred for this role. Candidates who meet this requirement will earn an extra $0.50 per hour.
Qualifications
You have a High School Diploma or GED completed AND have also completed at least one semester of college coursework or are currently enrolled in college courses.At least 6 months of paid or volunteer experience working with children, preferably in educational or therapeutic settings (ABA experience is a plus)You have a smartphone or similar device capable of capturing client session data and are tech-savvy.Exposure to individuals with Autism or special needs through family, friends, or work experience is a plusYou will be expected to complete mandatory training, which includes : New Hire Orientation, 40 hours of RBT training, Skills Practice, CPR, CPI and overlaps. You will also need to pass an exam in order to become a Registered Behavior TechnicianYou can pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, TB test, Pre-employment Physical Exam, and have or receive immunities to MMR / VZV during onboarding, which we will pay for.You'll be driving to and from clients\' homes, so you have a reliable form of transportation including a valid driver's license and car insurance.Ability to keep up with active children and be enthusiastic and professional.You have an active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification on file with the BACB.Responsibilities
Learn directly from Board Certified Behavioral Analysts how to provide therapy to children and families in need of supportTeach communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills through Applied Behavioral Analysis principlesMaintain active participation for the length of the session by engaging in play and keeping up with the energy of the childAccurately record treatment data on the child's program goalsEngage in and ensure client safetyAlways maintain confidentiality of all clients as well as a professional conductWhy choose us?
