Position Overview

We are seeking a SQL Developer & Database Administrator to design, build, and maintain the companys in-house SQL database environment. This role is primarily focused on SQL development and data engineering, with a portion dedicated to database administration. The ideal candidate will translate business needs into scalable, well-governed database solutions and work closely with cross?functional teams to support reporting, analytics, and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data structures to support business operations and reporting.
• Lead the development of internal SQL database systems, including schema design, data modeling, and foundational processes.
• Perform database administration tasks, including monitoring performance, managing access, maintaining backups, and ensuring data integrity.
• Develop and manage ETL processes and data integrations across multiple systems.
• Analyze and improve database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
• Partner with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into reliable, compliant technical solutions.
• Plan and manage technical projects, tracking progress and ensuring successful delivery.
• Establish documentation, standards, and best practices for database development, version control, and ongoing maintenance.
• Ensure all database solutions comply with internal security policies, data governance standards, and relevant regulations.
• Act as a subject?matter expert for SQL and data initiatives, providing guidance and mentorship as systems mature.
• Adapt to changing priorities and technologies while maintaining database reliability and accuracy.
