HiFyve is hiring a Lead Process Technician in Lee's Summit, MO!

Salary : $27–$35 / hr+

Shift : 1st Shift M-F 7 am to 3 : 30 pm

Location : Lee's Summit, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Interpret work orders and ensure proper job setup before production begins.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve injection molding issues to maintain production quality.
  • Participate in mold changes, startups, restarts, sizing, and processing adjustments.
  • Monitor cycle times to ensure all equipment operates efficiently.
  • Perform basic maintenance such as cleaning, greasing, and daily mold upkeep.
  • Change raw materials from designated silos as needed.
  • Operate, set up, and troubleshoot auxiliary equipment, including heat transfer machines and robotic / automation systems.
  • Complete reports tracking production performance, machine efficiency, and quality issues.
  • Assist or direct other molding employees in the absence of the lead / supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment at all times.

Education and Experience Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Injection molding experience required 5-10 yrs, including mechanical / technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of robotics and automation is preferred.
  • Ability to follow quality control procedures and use QA lab tools.
  • Previous experience performing mold maintenance and basic troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Thin wall or High-speed injection molding-preferred

    • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Strong troubleshooting skills to determine root cause of equipment issues.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Flexible, dependable, and willing to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrates excellent attendance, reliability, and commitment to safety practices.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., and pass any post-offer physical testing, including vision, hearing, and dexterity assessments.
