Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher at an elementary school located in Greenwood, SC. The position is a full-time contract for the 2025-2026 school year, beginning August 1st and ending May 30th, with a standard 37.5-hour work week.

The role involves working collaboratively within a team of three core Special Education teachers. This team setup allows for a flexible instructional approach that may include direct instruction, supplementary support, and co-teaching. The team works together to divide students effectively to meet their individual learning needs and maximize educational outes.

Key responsibilities include :

• Designing and delivering tailored instructional programs for students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborating with co-teachers and educational staff to create effective lesson plans
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies accordingly
• municating regularly with families and support staff about student progress and goals
