Job description

Overview

The Senior Enterprise Software Operations and Procurement Specialist is responsible for leading the entire process for sourcing, negotiation, and lifecycle management of NextAxiom complex software and services agreements. This role requires advanced knowledge of software licensing, contract structures, and compliance requirements. The position requires work directly with the NextAxiom CEO and will also work closely with customer stakeholders, legal, finance, and sales to ensure successful transactions.

Base pay range

$130,000.00 / yr - $180,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage customer sourcing events for NextAxiom enterprise software, and professional services.
  • Evaluate customer request for proposals (RFP) and set up sessions with internal NextAxiom staff to properly respond based on RFP or RFI requirements.
  • Lead and / or participate in contract negotiations for large-scale software deals, including terms around licensing, pricing, indemnification, data privacy, SLAs, and exit strategies.
  • Coordinate with legal and CEO to assess and respond to risk teams to ensure agreements will result in a positive transaction for NextAxiom.
  • Track and manage renewals, amendments, audits, and customer performance reviews.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms for CEO and internal systems to archive all contract and procurement documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA, JD, or technical certification preferred).
  • 7+ years of procurement or sourcing experience , including 5+ years in enterprise software or IT procurement .
  • Strong technical acumen related to software architecture, licensing models, SaaS / cloud technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale enterprise software negotiations and stakeholder relationships.
  • Familiarity with procurement and CLM tools.
  • Working knowledge of compliance and risk standards (e.g., ISO 27001, FedRAMP)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
