Job description

Position Purpose :

Join a dynamic team as a Senior Product Strategist for our Retail Media division, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting advertising initiatives for The Home Depot. This position offers the opportunity to manage ad inventory across various advertising platforms, including homedepot.com, leveraging ad serving technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Be part of a small, impactful team that is transforming the digital advertising landscape for the world's leading home improvement retailer.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Performance Monitoring : 10% - Keep track of ongoing media performance to ensure goals are met.
  • Ad Placement and Follow-up : 15% - Implement on-site ad placements, tagging, tracking, sponsored listings, and manage private ad marketplaces.
  • Product Strategy Execution : 25% - Oversee the internal advertising product strategy and ensure technical execution daily.
  • Timeline Management : 40% - Collaborate with internal and external teams to launch new products on schedule while maintaining high quality.
  • Vendor Management : 10% - Select and manage external vendors as necessary for project success.

Direct Manager / Direct Reports :

This position reports to the Manager / Sr Manager for Retail Media and has no direct reports.

Travel Requirements :

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements :

Most of the time is spent sitting comfortably, with frequent opportunities to move. Some light lifting may be needed occasionally.

Working Conditions :

Located in a comfortable indoor environment with infrequent and negligible unpleasant conditions.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Strong BI / Data Analytical skills, including proficiency in Python and Google BigQuery.
  • A growth mindset and a focus on systems thinking.
  • Excellent planning and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly collaborative team player who is focused, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced changes.
  • Agency or brand marketing experience.
  • Previous experience with retail websites, e-commerce, and analytics.
  • Desirable experience in marketing / ad tech and product management / marketing.
  • Adept in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Minimum Education :

    Knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through high school diploma and / or GED.
