Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine set-ups, adjustments, and material requirements.
• Coordinate with the Machine Assistant on the stacking process at the finished end, give directions, delegate, and supervise duties.
• Communicate with the production team to coordinate production schedules and ensure the timely delivery of finished products.
• Safely operate the die cutter efficiently while maintaining quality standards throughout the production process.
• Perform machine setup per factory card requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections of cut materials, flagging and isolating defective products.
• Maintain accurate production records, including waste, production time, and waiting time.
• Monitor the machines during operations to ensure the quality of the product.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations, including Safe Operating Procedures and Lock Out/Tag Out Procedures.
