Senior Underwriter - Texas Licensed

A company is looking for a Senior Servicing Underwriter to manage the underwriting of various loan types according to established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Review mortgage applications and documentation for accuracy and completeness

Ensure compliance with HUD requirements on FHA loans and apply Pennymac overlays

Perform risk-based reviews on loans based on expected performance and repayment ability

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Experience with automated loan origination and underwriting systems

2+ years of underwriting experience with complex financial and income statements

2+ years of experience preparing cash flows for partnerships, S-corporations, and corporations

Knowledge of mortgage lending laws and regulations

Proficiency in Excel and Word
