Job   Title :   1st Class Inside Manual Machinist

Location :  Lockport, LA

Position Overview :  The Inside Manual Machinist fabricates machine components such as shafts, rudder stocks, stern tubes, etc., using manual machinery.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate manual mills, lathes, and drill presses to fabricate machine components.
• Use measuring tools such as dial calipers and micrometers to ensure precision.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and work instructions to complete tasks accurately.
• Perform quality checks on finished components to ensure they meet specifications.
