Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (required) Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification (preferred) 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or project leadership role Knowledge of electrical and civil engineering principles Strong understanding of applicable industry standards, electrical codes, and regulatory requirements Proficiency with CAD, spreadsheets, databases, and other engineering applications Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Lead, mentor, and train a team of T&D Engineers and Construction Planners Oversee scheduling and resource allocation for capital projects and construction timelines Ensure designs meet safety, efficiency, and compliance standards Collaborate across departments including Asset Management, Real Estate, Vegetation, and Project Management Provide updates and reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders Troubleshoot and guide engineering design challenges in real-time Develop and implement processes to improve team efficiency and productivity Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred Demonstrated success in project management within utility or construction engineering Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities Experience working in a regulated utility environment Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities
