Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor with a passion for food & restaurants to add to our small Austin team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production and post-production, with proficiency in various editing software and tools. This role will primarily involve cutting up large amounts of food-footage into short clips for instagram reels as well as creating podcast clips for social media.

Responsibilities :

  • Edit video footage, specifically cutting highlights out of
  • Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project objectives and deliverables.
  • Utilize software such as Adobe Premiere AND
  • Davinci Resolve
  • video editing tasks.
  • Conduct post-production processes including color correction and video rendering.
  • Manage video files using content management systems and FTP for efficient workflow.
  • Podcast editing
  • Podcast Clip Creation
  • Assist in photo editing and manipulation using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, as needed if skills are applicable.

Qualifications :

  • Applicant must be open to learning new methods and tcni
  • Proficiency in
  • Davinci Resolve.
  • Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom, & Photoshop, are a bonus.
  • Experience with video editing software such as

  • Strong understanding of post-production workflows including motion graphics, typography, and audio mixing.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and feedback during the editing process.
