Job overview

We're seeking an experienced Mechanic to maintain and repair our construction equipment and company fleet. As a key member of our team, you'll perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on various equipment and vehicles ensuring they run safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities :

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on construction equipment

Diesel and gas engine diagnostics and repairs with computer diagnostics

Document repairs and maintenance

Order parts when needed

Complete inspections, logs and fuel reports

Qualifications

Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics of electrical and hydraulics

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record. A Class A or B CDL preferred but not required.

Make practical decisions on repairing or replacing components

Knowledge of DOT regulations

Technical degree or 1-3 years' experience or extensive mechanical ability

Knowledge of job-specific safety practices

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 occasionally

Physically able to stand, sit, walk, and bend on hard surfaces for long periods

Maneuver on or around equipment
