Description :

Licensed in California is required.

Resume must be provided to view.

Graduation date from the master’s program must be at least 2 years prior to satisfy independent license requirements.

A Master's degree is required; Bachelor’s level is not acceptable.

Candidates must specify they hold a full license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) and not an associate level (LSW, AMFT, or LPC).

Full licensure is mandatory; associate licenses will not be accepted.

Unit consists of 8 beds and staff includes 1 RN and 6 outpatient therapists.

Patients are organized into groups, with a maximum of 10 patients per group, and 5 groups run daily.

Knowledge of CBT and DBT skills is preferred.

Experience running psychotherapy or skills groups is highly desired.

Typical responsibilities include facilitating psychotherapy and psych skills groups.

Documentation of groups in the electronic medical record system is required.

Psychosocial assessments and treatment plan updates will be performed as needed.

Participation in treatment team meetings and discharge planning is expected.

Safety assessments may be required as part of patient care.

Dress code is business casual; jeans are not acceptable.

Unit guidelines and policies should be reviewed by staff.

The department has received recognition for its outstanding work and achievements.

New equipment and technologies are in use, enhancing the working experience.

Consideration of schedule options may be available to tailor to staff preferences.
